Getting around Brest

The IFREMER Institute is located less than 20 minutes away (by car) from the city center. Brest is a sea port at the northwest tip of Brittany.

A valid ID or passport is necessary to enter the gate at IFREMER.

Public transportation runs every 5 minutes from Brest city center ("Liberté", "Siam", or "Chateau" Tram station).

Take TRAMWAY line A

Get off at "Plouzané - Porte de Plouzanné" terminus and cross the street to get a bus at Plouzanné Bus Stop.

Get the line 13 or 2 and get off at "Piccard" bus stop near Ifremer Institute entrance.
